Description: the marble stelae of the koroibo's funerary precint, late v century b.c., on the sacred way or street of the tombs, in the kerameikos cemetery, outside the sacred gate. on the left the stele of hegeso, (copy, the original in the national museum) is on the left. the way was used during the celebration of the eleusinian mysteries, and was flanked by grave monuments from v century forward.
